Grayson: 'Tea Party GOP Wants Sick People To Die'

Everyone’s favorite neighborhood liberal Democratic Congressman, Alan Grayson, is up to his old tricks again.

What’s worse than threatening a government shutdown? Threatening a government shutdown in order to deny healthcare to millions of Americans. 

 And that’s exactly what the Tea Party Republicans are doing. They are not only trying to establish the reign of anarchy in America. They are doing so to make sure – make absolutely certain – that sick people cannot get the care that they need to stay alive. –Rep. Alan Grayson (D)

 This use of language is not uncommon for Grayson, for as you recall back in 2009, Grayson stated on the House floor that “Republicans want you to die quickly,” referring to what he believes to be the Republican healthcare plan.

 Grayson’s Republican congressional opponent in the 2014 mid-term elections, Jorge Bonilla, responded to Grayson’s fundraising letter.

” Should Americans expect anything less than this partisan, over-the-top, and divisive ranting from someone who refers to himself as the “Congressman with Guts?”

 “If we really wanted to deny millions of sick people the ability to seek the care they need, and wanted to leave millions of Americans uninsured, then the easiest way to do that would be to simply vote for immediate and full implementation of Obamacare, as did Mr. Grayson.
