Trump Schedules Competing MSNBC Town Hall Opposite Cruz, Rubio CNN Town Hall

In yet another aggressive move that will thrill Trump supporters, late Tuesday morning, Jesse Rodriguez, Senior Producer of MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,”  announced a town hall event with Republican frontrunner Donald Trump that will take place Wednesday night at 8 p.m. The night will be hosted by Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski. The MSNBC town hall will compete directly with CNN’s long-schedule town hall with Trump’s two closest  competitors,  Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio.

On Trump’s part, the competing town hall is obviously yet another one of The Donald’s ruthlessly effective political moves to infuriate his competitors and smother their message.

On Joe Scarborough’s part, this might be a bit of revenge against CNN. Last week, the left-wing CNN launched a series of hit-pieces against Scarborough, all of which were poorly sourced and filled with nothingburgers-disguised-as-conflicts-of-interest. I’m not fan of Scarborough or CNN, but CNN’s reporting was a joke, especially when the fact that Scarborough is an opinionator and not a journalist was not taken into consideration.

As far as Trump, unless an angry CNN now rescinds its offer, just days before voting begins in South Carolina, he will enjoy a town hall two-fer.  Along with John Kasich and Jeb Bush, Trump is scheduled to appear at a Thursday night CNN town hall event.

If MSNBC will now put up a CNN-style countdown clock for  the Trump town hall, my life will be complete.

UPDATE: My life is complete
