Conservative columnist and author Michelle Malkin will join Conservative Review with nationally-syndicated radio host Mark Levin, Breitbart News has learned exclusively.
“The mainstream media and Beltway establishment have not only attempted to hijack the political process, but have also sought to hide the awful truth—that both political parties have sold out to the Washington Cartel,” Malkin said in the statement provided to Breitbart News. “I am proud to join the team at Conservative Review and will help them fight political spin by promoting conservative values and free-market principles with some of the best and brightest minds in the conservative movement.”
Levin, the organization’s editor-in-chief, added that Malkin is a “super addition” to the team there.
“Conservative Review is quickly becoming the go-to site for conservatives for insightful commentary and analysis as well as the true record of politicians,” Levin said. “Michelle is a superb addition to our team, as her writing has served as a clarion call in standing for the Constitution and conservative principles.”
Conservative Review has quickly, in a little more than a year since its launch, become a major player in the conservative movement with Levin, now Malkin, and other top conservatives like Daniel Horowitz, Gaston Mooney, Rachel Semmel, Steve Deace, Deneen Borelli, Amanda Carpenter, John Gray, Chris Jacobs, and Jeffrey Lord working there. In addition to including columns and analysis from conservative leaders, Conservative Review has a voting scorecard for members of Congress that rates their voting records over a rolling six-year period. That prevents squishy Republicans from changing their voting behaviors right before elections to make it look like they’re conservatives when they’re not.
Malkin is the co-author, along with immigration attorney John Miano, of the new book “Sold Out: How High-Tech Billionaires & Bipartisan Beltway Crapweasels Are Screwing America’s Best & Brightest Workers.” The book goes through how immigration policies emanating from the political establishment in Washington—especially the H-1B program—have been used to replace American workers with foreigners.
The founder of Twitchy and Hot Air, two conservative media sites, Malkin has an enormous online presence with nearly 900,000 Twitter followers and 1.7 million Facebook fans.
She continues to be a thorn in the side of the Washington establishment, most recently ripping Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL)—the donor class non-conservative candidate after his work alongside Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and the now-indicted Sen. Bob Menendez (D-NJ), among others, on the “Gang of Eight” amnesty bill—for laughably trying to claim he and Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) aren’t much different on immigration.
Malkin was also included on the Mediaite “25 Most Influential In Political News Media” list for 2015.
