The reopening of the FBI investigation into Hillary Clinton’s emails did not stop Katy Perry, the candidate’s most vocal celebrity supporter, from undergoing a complete prosthetic transformation to turn herself into the Democratic nominee for Halloween.
The “Firework” singer showed up clad in a red pants suit — occupancied by a bevy of secret service-costumed friends — to Kate Hudson’s annual Halloween party.
Perry shared a photo of her transformation on Instagram Saturday. The picture features the 32-year-old singer surrounded by makeup artists, who worked tirelessly to add nearly four decades onto the Grammy-nominated singer’s face:
Perry is set to headline a star-studded “Love Trumps Hate” concert series, which will feature performances from singer Bon Jovi and Jennifer Lopez.
“The performance series will feature a number of artists performing in battleground states who will energize our supporters and encourage them to turn out to vote on Election Day or to take advantage of early voting options in their states,” a Clinton campaign press release states.
“In the final weeks of this campaign, what voters will hear from these performers and all HFA surrogates is that Hillary Clinton has the experience and steadiness to bring people together and get real results — Donald Trump is temperamentally unfit and unqualified to be president,” the press release continues. “The choice in this election is clear. We can either come together to tackle the big challenges facing the country or let Donald Trump keep tearing us apart with his divisive rhetoric and dangerous ideas.”
In March, Perry headlined a fundraising concert for Clinton at Radio City Music Hall in New York.
