Ben Carson raised nearly $23 million in the fourth quarter of 2015, Breitbart News has confirmed after getting exclusive access to the campaign’s fundraising numbers.

“Fourth Quarter 2015 numbers reveal nearly $23 million in total contributions through more than 486,000 contributions from some 339,500 unique donors,” the campaign said in a statement to Breitbart News.

The campaign has raised over $55 million from more than 1.13 million contributions and nearly 600,000 unique donors.

Carson is currently polling in fourth place in the latest Des Moines/Bloomberg Iowa poll with ten percent support.

“I am grateful for and encouraged by the response of ‘We the People’ in support of my message and our campaign to Heal, Inspire and Revive America,” said Dr. Carson in a statement. “We haven’t just raised funds, we have developed friends, whose belief in reversing the course of our nation and restoring the values on which it was founded extend far beyond financial support to dedicated volunteer efforts.”
