Dr. Ben Carson at CPAC: ‘Let’s Defund Obama’s Golf’

NATIONAL HARBOR, Maryland–Thursday Morning at CPAC, Dr. Ben Carson greeted a standing-room-only crowd at a brief breakfast meeting, assailed President Obama, and called for the defunding of Obamacare and executive amnesty. “Lets defund everything including his golf,” the 2016 presidential hopeful exhorted.

Carson was introduced by David Bossie, president of Citizens United and the president of Citizens United Foundation since 2001. Bossie characterized Carson as a man who aims to apply “Conservative ideas and conservative principles to save America.”

Carson emphasized the importance of the second amendment and believes that the law was crafted by “wise citizens” who appreciated that an enemy could invade quickly or a ” government could be deceived into thinking it had the right to dominate the people.”

Earlier at the Conservative Political Action Conference in the main auditorium at the Gaylord Hotel, Carson told a larger crowd that “Democrats now see African-Americans’ support as an entitlement – choosing to ‘keep them suppressed to cultivate their votes.”

Carson called for  renewed enthusiasm for individual freedom and for the reestablishment of the Constitution as the dominant document of governance. He reminded those attending the breakfast meeting that Congress has the power to overrule lower courts involved in supporting Obama’s executive actions.
