NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – Voters in Manhattan’s 5th District were outraged yesterday after a polling inspector donned a T-shirt with words that essentially spelled out “Go F*** Yourself,” but without the vowels.
That being said, just below that subtle message were the words “Would You Like To Buy A Vowel?”
As the photograph spread around the internet, the New York City Board of Elections was alerted actively tried to locate the polling location in question. The board subsequently Tweeted “the cap and the shirt were completely inappropriate work attire, Poll workers should be business casual.”
