The Cartel Del Noreste faction of Los Zetas sent a team of hitmen from Mexico into the Texas border city of Laredo to kill a man who had allegedly stolen drugs from them. Court documents revealed that the top leadership of the cartel gave the order, and the hitmen were told to “leave no witnesses.”

Mexican Cartel Pushes PR Video Claiming Killing Field News Stories as Fake

One of Mexico’s most violent drug cartels, now considered by the U.S. to be a terrorist organization, released a video claiming that the recent news stories about a cartel killing field and training camp attributed to them are fabrications. The drug cartel contended that any evidence in that killing field was planted to place the blame on them.

Mexico’s President Claudia Sheinbaum filed a controversial series of changes to the country’s constitution that would essentially block any investigation or action by foreign law enforcement agencies without their permission.
