Charlie Rangel: ISIS Is 'Not a Threat to Our National Security'

Thursday on MSNBC’s “Jose Diaz-Balart,” Rep Charlie Rangel (D-NY) said ISIS is not a threat to our national security and we should not be bombing them.

Rangel said, “Well, one thing, I don’t see where that’s a threat to our national security.” 

He added, “There is a cancer in this part of the world and it is true that America and probably Europe has no idea the depth of feeling and discord that are in this region for religious reasons  — not with standing that, it appears as though there could be overall a threat, not directly to us, but for us to be involved in a military way, I don’t see how in the heck that’s going to resolve.”
