Carney Dodges Questions On Why Amb Rice Was Selected To Speak On Benghazi

After White House spokesman Jay Carney explained that Ambassador Rice was in no way connected to the Benghazi consulate, its security, or the intelligence community, Carney was badgered by the White House press pool on why Rice was the Administration’s spokesperson after the attack on the US consulate. Carney simply repeated that the focus on Rice is “misplaced” and that it could have “been anyone.”
