Michael Jordan: I'd Beat Every NBA Great in My Prime Except for Kobe

Michael Jordan said in a recent interview that he could have defeated any NBA player and legend in a one-on-one game in his prime with the possible exception of Los Angeles Lakers great Kobe Bryant.

Ahmad Rashad interviewed Jordan “for an upcoming promo video for NBA 2K14,” and Jordan said he would have liked to have “played games against Jerry West, Elgin Baylor, Julius Erving, Carmelo Anthony and Dwyane Wade.”

He discusses how he taught then-high school player O.J. Mayo a lesson by telling him that Mayo may be the best high school player but Jordan was the best player in the world.

“I don’t think I would lose,” Jordan said, “other than to Kobe Bryant because he steals all of my moves.”
