Lawfare Project Warns of the Islamist Supremacists’ Campaign to Silence US

“Whoever would overthrow the liberty of a nation must begin by subduing its freedom of speech,” the Lawfare Project quotes Benjamin Franklin in their new video meant to raise awareness about the campaign to silence critics of militant Islam.

The Lawfare Project video explains that, for the most part, people are free to harshly criticize whichever religion they choose, except one that is exempt to this de facto rule.

“We see art that critiques Christianity, musicals that satirize Mormonism… they’re all open to criticism,” says the narrator. “Commentary, even ridicule… Virtually every religion is open to a conversation… Every religion, except Islam,” the video narrator explains.

He adds: “Talk about Islam, particularly militant Islam, and its no longer a conversation. It’s met instead with censorship, intimidation, lawsuits, and even violence.”

The Lawfare Project cites the tragic retaliatory actions faced by Dutch filmmaker Theo van Gogh and Ayaan Hirsi Ali after they made the film Submission. Van Gogh was brutally murdered, while Hirsi Ali now lives under constant security protection.

“Our conversations about Islamist terrorism have been stifled too,” says the narrator.

He then explains how the media was pressured into softening its reporting on the Islamic Society of Boston (ISB), the mosque attended by the Tsarnaev brothers before they committed the Boston marathon bombings. The mosque was founded by an al-Qaeda terrorist and is affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood, but these facts remain largely whitewashed from the mainstream media, the video demonstrated. 

After a Congressman brought up that the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) was a fundraising entity for terrorist groups, CAIR attempted to sue the Congressmen in order to silence him, explained the Lawfare Project.

The video continued: “When Major Nidal Hasan went on a murdering spree at Fort Hood, The U.S. government classified his act of terrorism as workplace violence, with no reference to religious motivation; no mention of him screaming, ‘Allah is great,’ as he gunned down thirteen fellow soldiers and wounded thirty-two more.”

The video concluded, warning that the global Islamist supremacists are attempting to create “a society where freedom of speech is exchanged for fear of it… Either we have a conversation about this now, or we may never have it at all.”
