Jon Stewart: CNN's Navy Yard Misinformation 'Deliberate'

Comedian Jon Stewart opened his serious/comedic segment by saying, “For sheer accumulation of breathless wrongness, there is only one source that matters….” After the chuckles quiet, Stewart gets serious and accuses CNN of deliberately spreading misinformation.

Stewart was of course talking about CNN, the cable network that once again distinguished itself with less than stellar reporting during a real-time crisis. Stewart gets through about five minutes of material without even mentioning CNN’s hour-long AR-15 debacle.

Anyone who watched any part of Wolf Blitzer’s Navy Yard coverage knows that Stewart is actually showing him a tremendous amount of pity here.
