Author Terry McMillan Calls Marco Rubio an 'Uncle Tom,' Compares Ted Cruz to Hitler

Author Terry McMillan took her GOP-bashing rhetoric to HuffPost Live this week, trashing Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) as an “Uncle Tom” for standing against the Dream Act.

McMillan, the mind behind Waiting to Exhale and other bestsellers, also threw the Uncle Tom label at Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) but later doubled down via social media.

McMillan told HuffPost Live’s Nancy Redd that she’s unhappy with the way GOP leadership treats people who want to come to the United States.

“I think [Marco] Rubio’s an Uncle Tom anyway — and Ted Cruz,” McMillan said.

She saved her nastiest comments for her Twitter followers. elaborating on her hateful comments about two GOP senators.
