On Wednesday, conservative scholar and talk radio host Mark Levin unveiled his three-step border security plan on a dry erase board on Fox News’ Hannity.
Appearing in a segment after pro-amnesty Republican Karl Rove, Levin, the conservative who was Attorney General Ed Meese’s chief of staff in the Reagan Administration, held up a dry erase board that read, “Deport! Secure Border! Cut $ From Foreign GOVTS!”
Levin said his plan was a “humane program” that would discourage illegal immigrant children from making the treacherous journey to America so that they are not killed or raped. And he emphasized that America should not give taxpayer dollars to countries that encourage or do nothing about their people illegally flooding across the U.S.-Mexico border. The Obama administration recently awarded more than $250 million in taxpayer funds to Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador — the three countries most of the illegal immigrants are fleeing — for aid and to solve what the Obama administration said was the “root cause” of the problem.
Levin also blasted the “chaos” and “anarchy” at the border that has resulted from President Barack Obama’s non-enforcement of the immigration laws and vows to ease deportations, saying that Obama “planted the seed for this.”
Levin said the “vast majority of the American people” are outraged “with their jaws on the floor and cannot believe” the lawlessness and the crisis at the border.
