Karl Rove reportedly suggested last Thursday that former Secretary of State and potential 2016 presidential candidate Hillary Clinton may have brain damage.
According to The New York Post, Rove told conference attendees in Los Angeles, “Thirty days in the hospital? And when she reappears, she’s wearing glasses that are only for people who have traumatic brain injury? We need to know what’s up with that.”
Clinton suffered a concussion when a stomach virus caused her to fall–right before she was scheduled to testify in December of 2012 about Benghazi, where four Americans were killed in a terrorist attack. Clinton’s State Department blamed the murders on a YouTube video.
Clinton was officially diagnosed with “a potentially life-threatening blood clot.”
A spokesperson for Hillary Clinton reportedly told the Post that Clinton was 100% healthy, adding that “Karl Rove has deceived the country for years, but there are no words for this level of lying.”
