Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid called himself a “one-man wrecking crew” on Monday, bragging that he was challenging Mitt Romney on releasing his tax returns as he attempted to rev up a crowd to support Democratic Rep. Shelley Berkley and President Barack Obama.
Reid was his usual blabbering, blithering, bloviating self, calling Romney:
“a plastic man running for president who changes his position every chance he gets. He isn’t someone who should represent this country.”
He chortled that “after this election, Karl Rove is going to sit down for breakfast with 17 angry old white men, including Las Vegas Sands boss Sheldon Adelson, who think the country is for sale.”
Reid also stated that if Berkley wins, the Senate would stop the House Ethics Investigation of her, even though the Senate has no jurisdiction over the House: “The Ethics Committee in the House is different than what we have in the Senate. Much different. If this were not an election year, it would be long gone.”
Of the Supreme Court’s Citizen’s United ruling, Reid ejaculated that the Supreme Court had made decisions “that did awful things for this country. But none is worse than this.”
Obamacare, anyone?
The one-man-wrecking crew. The only thing he wrecks is his own credibility.
