Mitt Romney leads President Barack Obama by 2 points (49%-47%) in Gallup’s daily tracking poll of likely voters nationwide.
The Gallup poll is in line with many other polls, including Rasmussen Reports, that have shown Romney with a similar lead among national voters in the last week.
Immediately after the first presidential debate, Romney surged to leads in key swing states like Florida, Virginia, and Colorado, and it seems the national numbers are catching up to those in the swing states.
