Fast & Furious Game Changer: What Did Obama Know and When Did He Know It?

In 2007, then Senator Barack Obama attacked the use of Executive Privilege as something “to hide behind…every time there’s something a little shaky that’s taking place.” And he saw this as especially true when it was used to avoid a “very appropriate call by…the chairman of the Judiciary Committee, to have [certain] individuals come in and testify.”

But in 2012, on the very day on which President Obama’s Attorney General was up for a Contempt of Congress vote, Obama stepped in and granted Executive Privilege over the documents that portend Holder’s doom.

For those of you paying attention, this is a game changer, for it now begs the question–what might those documents contain that could be damning enough to force Obama’s hand before the Congressional vote could take place? Not what do they contain about Holder, per se, but what might they contain about Obama?

Isn’t there at least an outside chance that those documents might demonstrate what so many have thought all along: namely, not only that Holder knew about gun walking from the get-go, but that Obama knew as well?

And might not the documents also show what has been proven out empirically: namely, that the design of Fast and Furious was to justify the implementation of more gun control on law-abiding citizens from the start?

The granting of Executive Privilege at this late date now begs the question: What did Obama know and when did he know it?

This is the question to which Congress, Gov. Mitt Romney, and every media outlet should be demanding an answer right now.
