Republican nominee Donald Trump’s speech at the Republican National Convention (RNC) drew at least two million more viewers than Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton’s speech at the Democratic National Convention (DNC).
According to Nielsen television ratings, just under 28 million viewers tuned in for Clinton’s speech, while 30 million viewers tuned in for Trump’s speech.
Although Trump had a bigger audience than Clinton, more people watched the DNC over the RNC earlier in the week. For example, by comparison, the second night of the DNC had 25 percent more viewers than the second night at the RNC, according to CNN.
