Socialist United States Senator Bernie Sanders is now within only 6 points of upsetting Hillary Clinton in New Hampshire, a new poll shows. According the WMUR Granite State poll, Clinton sits at 42% to Sanders’ 36%. This showing puts Sanders within the poll’s margin of error.
According the Real Clear Politics poll of New Hampshire polls, Clinton bests Sanders by +13.2%, 45% to 32%. Of the three most recent polls, though, Clinton’s lead has dwindled to single digits.
Those comparing Hillary’s problems today with an insurgent candidate to her upset loss to President Obama in 2008 forget one thing: In ’08, Clinton wasn’t under investigation by the F.B.I. and Department of Justice.
